Hi Guys, welcome to my week 47 summary. It was such a busy and weird week. I started off really strong and then everything kind of fizzled for me. I guess just too much stuff going on both at work and in my personal life.   My ankle is pretty much healed up, it just swells on me a bit still, but not painful. I was pretty stoked that one of my co-workers grabbed me for a beautiful walk on the water front this week, it was so nice!  You guys know how I have been complaining about the cold rainy weather?  Ya, well be carefully what you wish for. We got a couple 100 degree days and I was not moving out in that heat, blah!  Well let’s check out the breakdown, shall we. 

Week 47 Goals Check:

  • Stay Hydrated -A- Check!
  • Maintain a 500-calorie per day deficit -A- Easy 
  • 10,000 steps a day when I’m healed up!  -D- I could have done better here, I got in two days, and then was close others, but didn’t hit it. 
  • Get out of my chair for a spin around the block three time a day -B-  I didn’t do as much as I could have. I was super busy at work and lost focus a bit. 
  • Meditate four times per week -A- Nailed it. 
  • Reflect on my goals every day and keep my vision board updated -A- Done
  • Keep posting on my blog and Facebook, posting my Fitbit Dashboard everyday -C- Definately needed some more 10k posts this week. 
  • One hiking/adventure day per week -F- No adventures,this week. 
  • Lose 1 pound per week -F- No loss, no gain. 

Week 48 Goals:

  • Stay Hydrated
  • Maintain a 500-calorie per day deficit
  • 10,000 steps a day
  • Get out of my chair for a spin around the block three time a day
  • Meditate four times per week
  • Go to the gym at least 3 times this week
  • Reflect on my goals every day and keep my vision board updated
  • Keep posting on my blog and Facebook, posting my Fitbit Dashboard everyday
  • One hiking/adventure day per week
  • Lose 1 pound per week

There it is, not a very productive week, but I will change that this week.  I need to figure out a good way to supplement my steps when I’m working from home. When I go into the office, I walk to and from the MAX train stop, which is a big chunk of my steps that I miss when I work from home. Another thing I need to get back in order is the weekends. I get so busy cooking or working on projects at home, the steps get missed. I think I need to start hauling my ass back up to Mount Tabor in the weekends. 

Last week I talked about wanting to shake things up a little and do more physical activities. My BFF, Stacy has inspired me. I see posts from her almost daily of her beautiful, red and sweaty face after her lifting and gym workouts. She looks so happy and sounds energized. I’m going to do it Stacy!  I’m going to suck it up and hit the gym at least three times this week.  I,am going to start out on the easy side and just get myself used to going, I think that will be the biggest obstacle for me. I’m not going to go crazy and end up hurting myself. Been there, done that. Slow and steady will win this race!
